John oversees AON’s business development with a primary focus on driving new relationships with providers to join the AON network. In addition to developing and executing plans to grow new business, John is responsible for maintaining relationships with existing practices to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
John has more than 25 years of physician practice management experience. In addition to his 13 years tenure with Oncology Supply, he spent 12 years prior with Johnson & Johnson, Ortho Biotech serving oncology physician practices in many advanced roles. Rapidly advancing as part of the leadership team for PROCRIT, John was responsible for the development and execution of strategies and tactics for sales in community oncology centers plus the long-term care market within the Mid-Atlantic and Eastern regions. He managed and motivated a team of field-based representatives covering hospitals, community-based practices and long-term centers throughout eight states.
During his tenure at Oncology Supply, John first served as the Senior Regional Account Manager covering the Mid-Atlantic Region. Most recently as Director of Sales-West, John used an advanced consultative and strategic sales approach to grow market share and conversion of business. His management of the West exceeded topline growth of 10% and increased gross profit by 17%, year over year on $7.8B in sales.
John graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. He is committed to his community and supports local food banks and charitable services. Over the past 20 plus years, he also served as assistant coach to various youth sport teams including but not limited to wrestling, lacrosse and baseball.
Erica is a healthcare-specialized attorney with nearly a decade of transactional and regulatory experience. She is one of less than 130 attorneys in Florida to be Board certified in Health Law by The Florida Bar. Prior to joining AON, Erica most recently served as in-house counsel at Greenway Health, an electronic health record vendor. During her time at Greenway, she focused on vendor management, strategic relationships, and compliance with healthcare regulations. Erica was instrumental in the negotiation, implementation, and ongoing compliance with Greenway’s Corporate Integrity Agreement. Prior to her tenure at Greenway, Erica worked as an attorney in the healthcare group of Carlton Fields, P.A., and previously served as in-house counsel at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, one of the top children’s hospitals in the nation.
Erica is passionate about volunteerism and is particularly dedicated to her role on the Board of Directors of the Children’s Cancer Center, a Tampa-based non-profit that provides emotional, financial, and educational support to more than 1,000 children with cancer or life-threatening blood disorders and their families.
Erica holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism with dual minors in Business and Political Science from Ohio University and a law degree from Drexel University.
During his distinguished career, Dr. Reynolds has been recognized with numerous awards and acknowledgements. He has provided physician leadership as a member of several national committees and advisory boards. Currently, he serves on the Education Committee of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the Community Practice Committee of the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer.
Board certified in medical oncology and hematology, he attended medical school at the University of Miami and at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo.
Dr. Patel is Board certified in medical oncology and hematology. Dr. Patel is deeply committed to clinical trials research, and he previously served as director of clinical trials for an Institutional Review Board in Gaston, N.C., with responsibility for protecting the rights and welfare of patients involved in research. He has been published in several prestigious journals, including the International Journal of Cancer.
Prior to entering clinical practice, he served as a teaching assistant in biochemistry and anatomy at Vanderbilt University and as an instructor of hematology/oncology to second-year medical students at Meharry Medical College in Nashville.
Dr. Stephen Orman received his BA in biology from St. Louis University and his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences, Memphis, Tenn. He completed his internship and residency training in internal medicine and fulfilled a research year in immunology at the University of Tennessee. He was awarded his Fellowship in Hematology & Oncology at the George Washington University Medical Center, District of Columbia. Dr. Orman has participated as a sub-investigator in nearly 100 clinical research trials and has been published in Cancer Genetics and Cytogenetics, Archives of Internal Medicine, and the Journal of Clinical Oncology.
In 1985, he joined Venice Oncology Associates which later merged with Florida Cancer Specialists in 1998. During his career, Dr. Orman has served on the Board of Directors for the Florida Society of Clinical Oncology, on the Board of Directors of Venice Regional Medical Center and as Chief of Staff of Venice Regional. He has been the recipient of the “Hope Award” for the Wellness Community of Southwest Florida.
Dr. Orman retired from clinical practice in 2017 but continued his role as Assistant Managing Partner of Florida Cancer Specialists. Currently, his sole focus is serving as Chairman of the inaugural Board of Directors of American Oncology Network, LLC, and will continue to lead the organization in that capacity.
Katie oversees AON’s current and future clinical research initiatives. She is passionate about bringing scientific innovation and clinical trial access to the community setting where most oncology patients will receive their care.
Katie has over 25 years of healthcare experience including oncology nursing, clinical research, and program development. After graduating from Florida State University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Katie worked in Atlanta at Emory Hospital where she cared for critically ill patients in medical and surgical critical care units. For the last 19 years, Katie worked at Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Sarasota, Fla. While there, she developed processes which supported a network of 37 community-based clinical research sites throughout Florida, enrolling over 500 patients annually to phase 1-3 protocols. During her tenure she was responsible for many initiatives including opening two fully dedicated phase 1 clinical trial units and implementing technology solutions used to successfully match patients to clinical trials using clinical and genomic data.
James serves as Chief Pharmacy & Procurement Officer at AON. James joined AON in July of 2021 bringing close to 30 years of experience in both clinical and community oncology industry leadership roles.
Prior to joining AON, James served as Executive Vice President at Georgia Cancer Specialists in Atlanta, overseeing clinical, pharmacy, research, and imaging operations, as well as financial and strategic planning for 26 outpatient oncology clinics and two retail pharmacies and managing over 500 employees.
After earning his PharmD degree from Mercer University Southern School of Pharmacy, James received advanced clinical training from Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta. He began his career as a clinical pharmacist then transitioned into oncology program administration, as well as managing large clinical research and data mining programs.
Heavily involved in national oncology and pharmacy organizations, James is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, Georgia Society of Clinical Oncology, National Community Oncology Dispensing Association, Inc.’s (NCODA) Executive Counsel, ION’s SON Advisory Panel and Precision Medicine Advisory Panel, and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He is a reviewer for Community Oncology and Advances in Therapy, and has co-authored over 65 published articles, abstracts, and book chapters.
Shelly serves as AON’s Chief Growth & Relationship Officer and is responsible for overseeing referral base management, physician recruitment, patient advocacy and practice engagement as well as driving network growth.
Prior to joining AON, Shelly was the Chief Development & Community Partnership Officer at Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS), where she played a key role in bringing the organization to the forefront of community oncology. She oversaw critical growth initiatives as well as efforts to strengthen patient advocacy and community partnerships. Prior to joining FCS in 2012, she was Vice President of Marketing & Sales for Vantage Oncology, a radiation oncology organization based in Atlanta. While at Vantage, she was responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase patient volume as well as the profile of the company. Shelly was formerly the Chief Administrative Officer for Park ‘N Fly and previously held positions with increasing sales and marketing responsibilities at The Care Group, Roche Professional Service Centers and Sandoz Nutrition.
Shelly received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Lehigh University, as well as a Global Leadership designation from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. Dedicated to increasing cancer awareness and education, Shelly is the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s National Executive Chair of Light the Night as well as sits on the Board of Directors of the Jack & Jill Late Stage Cancer Foundation and the American Cancer Society’s CEOs Against Cancer.
She was the 2013 Co-Chair of the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer in Sarasota/Manatee, named the 2014 Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Woman of the Year, the 2016 Chair of the Suncoast Chapter Leadership Team of Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Man and Woman of the Year and the 2020 Light the Night Event Chair in Tampa, Fla. Additionally, Shelly actively participates on the Advisory Board of the Millennium Alliance, Women of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (founding member) and was a 2018 Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Businesswoman of the Year Finalist.
Mark is responsible for overseeing information technology across AON. Prior to joining AON, Mark served as Chief Information Officer for Florida Cancer Specialists and as Vice President of Information Technology at Promise Healthcare, Inc., the nation’s 5th largest long-term acute care (LTAC) hospital company, where he was responsible for the leadership and planning of information technology for all the Promise Healthcare locations. Before joining Promise Healthcare, Mark worked as an Operations Analyst for The GEO Group, an international private prison management company with over 100 facilities.
A native of Poland, Mark began his career as a teacher of literature and holds a Master of Arts degree in literature from the University of Wroclaw in Poland. After moving to the United States, he entered the IT field and transitioned to healthcare IT where he quickly embraced the impact technology would have on healthcare operations and patient care. Mark specializes in envisioning, managing and supporting IT solutions that support ongoing improvement and continuity of high-quality patient care.
Kristin serves as Chief Compliance & Risk Officer at AON.
An attorney with more than 15 years of health law experience, Kristin has provided guidance to hospitals, health systems and large physician groups on complex compliance and regulatory issues.
Kristin joined AON in August of 2020. Prior to joining AON, Kristin served as Executive Director-Regulatory and Compliance Counsel at Mercy in St. Louis, which was named one of the top five large U.S. health systems for four consecutive years (2016 to 2019) by IBM Watson Health. During her tenure at Mercy, she served as the primary legal advisor for all compliance and regulatory issues throughout the system, including implementation of and compliance with the requirements of the first three years of a Corporate Integrity Agreement.
Prior to joining Mercy, she served as in-house legal counsel for BJC HealthCare in St. Louis, primarily representing its medical group of over 800 employed physicians, and represented large physician groups and hospital systems within the healthcare practice groups of Squire Patton Boggs and Porter and Wright, Morris and Arthur in Columbus, Ohio.
Kristin holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and History from University of Missouri-Columbia and a law degree from Capital University Law School.
A nationally recognized healthcare executive, Brad is responsible for guiding the growth of AON. Brad served as AON CEO since its inception in 2017 to 2021, and in just over two years was instrumental in driving network growth to over 92 physicians in 16 states. Under his leadership as President & Chief Development Officer, AON’s network continues to expand at a steady pace. He is committed to helping community oncology practices across the U.S. achieve long-term options for success.
In his role as Florida Cancer Specialists (FCS) Chief Executive Officer from 2009 to 2020, Brad led the growth of the practice from 50 to more than 240 physicians, expanded the service offerings, developed and implemented the organization’s mission to provide world-class cancer care in community-based settings close to home.
Brad brings more than 30 years of physician practice management experience to his role with AON. In addition to his FCS experience, he spent seven years as CFO and CEO of several PhyCor multi-specialty physician practices, as well as seven years at US Oncology. During his tenure at US Oncology, Brad served as the Executive Director of Practice Operations for Texas Oncology. In addition, Brad was the President of Crozer Keystone Health Network, a multi-specialty physician group practice, and COO for Physician Oncology Services, a prostate cancer treatment network in Georgia, Indiana and Kentucky.
After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and passing the CPA exam, Brad spent three years as an auditor and consultant at Big 8 firms Arthur Andersen and Coopers and Lybrand; he later earned his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, while working at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Brad is committed to his community and serves as a volunteer with Big Brothers/Big Sisters. He also served as Chairman of the Board for the Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation from 2010 to 2018, which provides non-medical financial assistance to qualified cancer patients in Florida. Additionally, Brad served as the 2016 and 2017 Florida Chair of American Cancer Society’s CEO’s Against Cancer, a program of the American Cancer Society.
With more than 30 years of healthcare experience and as AON’s CEO, Todd is responsible for overseeing AON’s mission, strategy, operations and finances. As President & Chief Operating Officer of AON since its inception in 2017 to 2021, he made significant contributions across practice operations, central ancillaries, information technology and strategy.
In his role as Florida Cancer Specialists (FCS) Chief Operating Officer, he was responsible for the day-to-day operations within the corporate office and nearly 100 locations throughout Florida. Prior to his role as COO of FCS in 2011, Todd was Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for US Oncology. As part of the senior management team, Todd helped set organizational goals and objectives, oversaw strategic project prioritization, and led tactical execution of company-wide initiatives. He was also responsible for all day-to-day operational aspects of information technology and strategic direction for the information technology needs of the organization. While Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, he was named to the Information Week 500 and received the ComputerWorld/IDG Laureate Award, recognizing individuals and organizations that use information technology to benefit society. During his tenure at US Oncology, he also held positions as the Director of Enterprise Applications and Vice President of Information Systems. Todd’s consulting and management experience in healthcare information technology includes positions with Datamedic Corporation (acquired by VitalWorks and later Amicas Corporation), Multum Corporation (acquired by Cerner Corporation), and MedE America (acquired by WebMD and later HLTH Corporation).
Todd received a bachelor’s degree in health policy and administration from Pennsylvania State University. Todd has presented at national industry conferences including multiple Community Oncology Alliance (COA) conferences as well as national and regional information technology conferences.
Bridget oversees AON’s human resources activities as a senior HR professional with over 20 years of progressive HR leadership experience within the healthcare industry including large health systems, physician practices as well as an international IT healthcare consulting firm and a property and casualty insurance start up. Most recent experiences include Vice President of Talent Management for Catholic Health System in Buffalo, N.Y. and Chief HR Officer for a Federally Qualified Health Center, Neighborhood Health Center of Western N.Y.
Bridget attended Canisius College, Buffalo, N.Y., where she earned her bachelor’s degree in industrial organizational psychology and management.
Christine oversees AON’s revenue cycle activities. With more than 20 years of healthcare experience, she has spent the last 15 years specifically focused on revenue cycle management. In her role she oversees revenue cycle management from patient intake through payment processing. Christine comes to AON from GI Alliance, where she was responsible for revenue cycle operations as Vice President. Prior to that, she held the Executive Director, Revenue Cycle Management position at McKesson, as well as similar roles in healthcare reimbursement.
Christine attended University of Houston, Clear Lake, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in healthcare administration.
Curtiss oversees AON’s laboratory and pathology services. Curtiss’ vast experience in training and supervising teams, his experience in quality management to ensure quality outcomes and patient focus, and knowledge of accreditation and certification processes is what sets him apart from other leaders.
Curtiss comes to AON from BayCare Health System in Tampa, Fla., where he served as the East Division Laboratory Director managing the inpatient, outpatient, and outreach testing for nine hospitals consisting of two women’s hospitals and a children’s hospital. He began his laboratory career while serving in the U.S. Army as a Medical Laboratory Specialist. He has also worked in other roles as Manager of the Bone Marrow Transplant Research Laboratory at the University of Rochester Medical Center, a Scientist at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics (Johnson & Johnson), a Medical Technologist Coordinator at Rochester General Health System, a Manager of Laboratory Quality and Point of Care Testing at United Memorial Medical Center, and as a Senior Laboratory Manager at DaVita Labs in Deland, Fla.
Originally from Rochester, N.Y., Curtiss received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Victory University, Memphis, Tenn., a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Piedmont International University, Winston Salem, N.C., an MBA from Ashford University and is currently a second-year Doctoral student at Carolina University specializing in Organizational Leadership.

Roberta leads AON’s nursing and value-based care program. Since joining AON in early 2020, Roberta has made a significant impact across AON’s network implementing various value-based care initiatives. Prior to joining AON, she was the practice director/quality program director at Arizona Oncology where she implemented operational and clinical activities for value-based care programs bringing in over $10 million in practice revenue. Roberta was integral to the Oncology Care Model program for Arizona statewide and was actively engaged in value-based care collaborations with payer partners and health systems, leading both the clinical and operational teams.
Roberta is a registered nurse with over 13 years’ experience in community oncology. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arizona State University.
Caroline leads AON’s marketing activities and is responsible for managing the creation and implementation of advertising and communications strategies for AON and the respective practices. With over 13 years of successful marketing management and leadership experience, she is a data-driven and creative marketer, having achieved excellent results driving demand generation and business growth. Prior to joining AON, she managed the strategic direction, coordination, and implementation of the marketing plan for Harmony Healthcare, a national leader in revenue cycle management staffing and consulting. Previously, she oversaw the brand, product and content marketing for Spectrum Enterprise, and online marketing for Greenway Health. Her efforts during her career significantly increased brand identity and favorability, and enhanced client engagement efforts through effective segmentation and thought leadership.
Caroline holds a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Studies from the University of London and earned her master’s in business administration from Durham University, England.
Guy leads AON’s radiation and radiology services. With more than 25 years’ experience Guy has served in a variety of roles gaining a deep understanding of how today’s healthcare is delivered particularly within the diagnostic imaging space.
Prior to joining AON Guy served as Chief Executive Officer of Trident Medical Imaging, a multi-modality diagnostic imaging organization with a primary focus on PET/CT and oncologic imaging. During his tenure at Trident, Guy also served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Sales. In addition, Guy served on the Technical Assessment Committee for Georgia’s Department of Community Health tasked with developing the state’s Certificate of Need Rules for PET/CT scanners and volunteered his services as Chief Financial Officer for the non-profit Outpatient Imaging Coalition.
Guy has been instrumental in developing imaging centers throughout the U.S and his career includes sales management positions with CTI, Siemens, and CYTOGEN. He has served as Director of Nuclear Medicine with a multi-specialty facility and has been published as principal author of peer-reviewed journal articles. He also served as Adjunct Faculty with George Washington University’s Nuclear Medicine Technology program while simultaneously teaching at the US Navy’s Clinical Nuclear Medicine School as Senior Instructor.
Guy received his MBA from Georgia State University and his Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management from Southern Illinois University.
Brian oversees practice operations for AON in the western United States. With nearly 20 years of operational and financial management experience in the healthcare services industry focusing on oncology, Brian possesses strategic vision for developing and executing effective business strategies to ensure the success of community-based oncology practice. Prior to joining AON, Brian served as chief of operations and strategic development for Arizona Oncology. Through a unique blend of tactics, leadership ability and technical skills, Brian, over the last 17 years, played an important role in growing one of Arizona’s largest community oncology groups.
Brian served as a medic/pharmacy technician in the United States Army. He attended Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas, where he earned his undergraduate degree in health professions and his master’s degree with honors in healthcare administration. He has a strong compassion for patient advocacy, and since 2008, has served on the advisory council board for the International Cancer Advocacy Network (ICAN). He is also a board member of the Amanda Hope Angels, a pediatric oncology charity, based in Phoenix, Ariz.
As Vice President of Finance, Michael oversees the analytical support provided to all levels of management throughout the organization. In addition to heading up the analysis of existing operations, Michael works with prospective AON partner physicians to facilitate the transition from individual and group practice to affiliation with AON. His over 20 years of prior experience includes progressive financial roles with McKesson and Cardinal Health, the Timken Company, the acquisition and management of charter schools throughout the southeastern U.S., and, most recently, Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute.
Originally from Ohio, Michael earned his bachelor’s degrees in finance, business and education from Walsh University and his MBA from Ashland University. He is also certified as a Six Sigma Green Belt.
Melody oversees AON’s pharmacy operations, establishes guidelines and standard operating procedures, develops drug utilization and formulary initiatives ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimized therapeutic outcomes. She gives guidance on IV room design and keeps abreast of industry standards to ensure the pharmacy is in compliance with USP 797/USP 800 and state/federal regulatory requirements.
Melody has over 20 years of clinical and management experience in pharmacy. Prior to her role as Vice President of Pharmacy Operations, she was the Director of Pharmacy Operations for Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) for seven years. She established the pharmacy operational program, drafted the pharmacy training manual, and instituted the regional trainer program that enabled a standard practice throughout nearly 100 FCS locations. Prior to FCS, Melody worked as a lead pediatric oncology pharmacist at Lee Health in Florida, and as an oncology pharmacist at MD Anderson Cancer Center Orlando (now UF Health Cancer Center).
Melody received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from China Medical University in Taiwan and earned her MBA degree from Tulane University in New Orleans. She is a Board-Certified Oncology Pharmacist and has served as a Pharmacist Liaison to the Florida Society of Clinical Oncology (FLASCO) Board of Directors since 2017. She also sits on the Association of Community Cancer Center (ACCC) Oncology Pharmacy Education Network Advisory Committee.
After graduating from West Virginia University School of Medicine, Dr. Douglas Heldreth completed his internship at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, W. Va. and his residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center/University of Florida in Orlando, Fla. Dr. Heldreth practiced internal medicine for over six years and, from 1992 to 1994, he also served as Medical Director of Hope Hospice in Fort Myers, Fla. His experience with hospice patients strengthened his interest in oncology and inspired him to return to the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, Fla. to pursue further training in hematology/medical oncology. After completing his fellowship, Dr. Heldreth joined Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in 1996. He practices in Naples, Fla.
David serves as Chief Financial Officer at AON, where he oversees the organization’s financial operations including accounting, tax, financial planning and analysis. David joined AON in September of 2020 and focuses on financial strategy, employee and team development and data-driven decision making. He brings more than two decades of experience in finance and leadership to his work at AON.
Prior to joining AON, David served as Chief Financial Officer at ApolloMD, a multi-specialty physician and APC practice management services group for emergency and hospital medicine, anesthesiology, and radiology. During his tenure at ApolloMD, he substantially improved financial reporting while also playing a key role in revenue cycle enhancements, all of which contributed to consecutive years of margin expansion.
Prior to joining ApolloMD, David served approximately 10 years in progressively senior positions and ultimately as the Vice President of Finance and Assistant Treasurer at Cumulus Media, a publicly traded, leading broadcast media and network company with radio stations in approximately 100 markets across the United States. Prior to that, he held financial management roles with both publicly traded and private companies within the healthcare industry. David started his career in public accounting with the national audit firm of Ernst & Young out of their Washington, D.C. office.

Steve oversees practice operations for AON in the Midwest and eastern United States. Steve most recently served as executive director for the Zangmeister Cancer Center. Prior to that, he held the position of CEO at the Robert C. Byrd Clinic at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, W. Va., CEO and CFO of University Medical Associates, Inc. in Athens, Ohio, and President and CEO of OhioHealth Doctors Hospital in Nelsonville, Ohio.
Steve attended Ohio University, where he earned his Bachelor of Applied Arts degree in accounting and pre-law.
Tena oversees practice operations for AON in the eastern United States including the successful establishment of Messino Cancer Centers six medical oncology practices within six months. Throughout her 30 years of experience in oncology, Tena has learned, honed, and mastered her clinical, operational, leadership and teamwork acumen. Her work as an oncology nurse and nurse practitioner in both inpatient and outpatient settings has cultivated a well-rounded perspective on patient care. She has successfully led multiple quality initiatives and practice certifications including Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (QOPI) with ASCO, CMS Promoting Interoperability, and physician performance initiatives for a hospital-based quality program.
Like many leaders, Tena did not embark on her career with the goal of being a “leader,” rather, she set out simply to make a difference. Tena’s core principle has always been “patients first” and this is the root of her leadership success. The true mettle of a leader may not be seen in normal day to day operations but in crisis. Over the years, Tena has faced crises with poise and grace. As Clinical Operations Director, Tena oversaw the rebuilding of a medical oncology practice following a tragic fire, re-establishing operations within three days. She has led multiple successful negotiations for practice transformations resulting in continued practice growth and expansion of services. Her commitment to quality oncology care led to the development of multiple outpatient care programs including Survivorship, Oncology Triage Clinic, and Palliative Care. The outcome of these positive developments ranged from improved quality of life to reduced hospital admissions for patients.
In 2001, Tena graduated from Duke University School of Nursing with an MSN and an adult medicine nurse practitioner certificate with a sub-specialty in oncology and HIV. She has received multiple awards and honors throughout her career, including the Thelma Ingle Award for Excellence in Clinical Expertise and Scholarly Activities from the Beta Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau. In 2018, Tena completed the Clinical Leadership Fellowship through CTI Leadership.
Joan leads AON’s contracting, credentialing and value-based care activities. With an extensive background in the payer strategy and relations arena, she most recently served as Executive Director, Payer Strategy & Relations at Arizona Oncology. Prior to that, she held the position of Vice President of Managed Care for a multi-hospital/physician health system, as well as similar national leadership roles in healthcare consulting and on the health plan side.
Joan attended California State University, Northridge, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in health education.
